Girls Weekend 2010

This year for Girls Weekend we hung around Salt Lake for most of the time. But to start us off, my mom booked us a time to go do some adventurous things like rock climbing, zip line, and canoeing, down in Provo.

All ready in our harnesses
I won't post pics of us climbing because really, the only kind you get are butt-shots, so consider yourselves spared.

I was so proud of myself that I actually did those things. I am not a very daring person, so I'm also glad that Nat got some pictures as proof.

The next day we did a little shopping in preparation for a Bridal Shower we were throwing that night.

Then we went to lunch and to see Eclipse.
After the movie we went to get a Cup o' Snow.

Here are the results.
Friday night we had a family shower for our cousin, Miranda.
We were originally going to have it at our house, but things changed.
We played the memory game by having Miranda wear all the items and show them around the room. Those were also our gifts to her. (Minus the random things like: gum, money, tampon, movie stubs, etc.)
It was fun to see lots of family. We had two family baby blessings that weekend so lots of people happened to be in town.
Me and my cousin, Lisa, with my other cousin, Curtis', baby Kate.
Saturday morning we all went out to breakfast because without a kitchen, it's hard to prepare any meals.
Melissa, Brad, Dani, Nat
Mom & Dad
After breakfast we ditched the boys to go wander around Hobby Lobby.
A new one just opened up by my mom's house and we could've spent hours there. Such cute stuff.
We then went to lunch with some of the extended family that was in town. We had about 20 people there and it was a lot of fun.
Makes me excited for the family reunion at the end of the month where we'll get to see lots more. (Around 70 people! And that's not even all of them.)
After lunch we headed to get pedicures.
This was Dani's first time and she has very ticklish feet. There was a lot of laughing.
The Girls
Mom & Nat
The finished products.
After pedicures we got one more Cup o' Snow and then went home to watch, Jane Eyre, the British version. Which meant it was 4 hours long. But we all really liked it!
I love the irony that we started our girls weekend rock climbing and ending with pedicures and a chick flick.
I had a really good time hanging out with my sisters and mom. I love that we do Girls Weekend every year so we make sure that we stay close.
