Concerts and showers...

Last Friday, Brian's mom got the whole family tickets to go see Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band, at the Sandy Amphitheater. It was so fun! It's a great show for the whole family. We were standing in line though, and I was teasing one of his brothers, and all of a sudden they were all teasing me. It made me realize just how out numbered I am. And it's going to be a while before it starts to even out, because his next younger brother is only just leaving on his mission. :)

Saturday night we had a bridal shower for my cousin Wendi at my house. It was the friend shower so we had a really good time. Lots of girl talk and scandalous gifts. Totally awesome! Here are just a few pictures.

Oh, and we had Chinese food, which I love, and I now know where a take out Chinese place is that puts it in the little boxes. I'm such a geek but I totally love the little boxes. Makes me feel like a Gilmore Girl. :)

Nat was able to come to the shower because they came up this weekend. Adam had a doctor appointment and they found out that he gets to have a soft brace now, instead of the huge turtle brace. Woohoo! And maybe, in ten years, he might be able to go four-wheeling again. :) It's progress right?

Brian decided to go biking during the shower because he said that was too much estrogen for him, but he'd rather go biking than almost anything, so he was OK with us kicking him out. Also, on Sunday we taught our first class. We've been called as Sunday School teachers, for the 13-14 year old class. They are pretty wild, but Brian seems to handle them OK. I've decided to bribe them with candy. We'll see how it goes.
