So apparently it wasn't a cold, it's allergies. Yuck! Itchy throat, sneezing, stuffy & runny nose, and itchy itchy eyes. I hate it. Thank you father for this wonderful genetic trait. :)

I forgot to mention that last week we had the opportunity to go to an Awards Banquet for Brian's Scholarship. They took pictures and the president of the university spoke to us and then they had a buffet. It was pretty fun, mostly because my cousin Wendi and her husband were there so we had someone to chat with. I found out that they only gave one scholarship to the Architecture department, and mulitple ones to other departments around the university, so it's even better that Brian got it. :) And out of about 25 scholarships, only 13 are for $6,000, so again, we're even more grateful that Brian got it.

On Thursday I took the day off because I intended to get a jump start on my papers, but instead I got up early, cleaned the living room and kitchen, did the dishes, went grocery shopping, went to the sherriff's office to get fingerprinted, all before 2:00. It was awesome. I love those days when I'm so productive. And I think part of the reason I didn't mind doing all of it was because I got to choose what to do. I didn't have to get up for class, or go to work. I was doing things I wanted to be doing. Or maybe I was just having a good day.

It definitely ended as a good day though, because my friend Heather came over and we watched Grey's Anatomy for the rest of the day. (We're trying to catch up on the seasons we've missed). And Thursday was the return of the new season so we watched that too. It was great. We had oreos and fruit and my special fruit dip. (8 oz cool whip, 1 individual serving container of yogurt, any flavor you choose. I usually use raspberry.) It's really good and if you use "light" it can be healthy too.

Saturday I spent most of the day writing papers, and again yesterday. It really wears me out. By the time I got to my 4th paper, I was spent. So I probably didn't do as well as I could've, but I'm to the point where I'm too tired to stress about it anymore. Hopefully I do well enough that it doesn't ruin my grades. Now I just have one more final test tomorrow afternoon. I'll be studying all night for this one. But then I'll be done! woohoo!

Yesterday I also was asked to play a musical number in Sacrament meeting. I was really nervous and it's hard to practice on an electric keyboard, because it doesn't really feel the same, but I think I did okay. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't mess up so much that it took away from the Spirit. After I finished playing and went back to my seat, Brian told me that he really wanted to get me a real piano. I was way excited. I would totally take a new piano before any furniture we would want for a house. I'm weird that way. :)

Also yesterday, my best friend Val called and told me she's having a baby BOY!!! We talked for almost an hour about everything. It was so much fun. I'm so excited for her.

Today my parents are going on a trip to Denver for my dad's work, and we are staying with my brother and sister. I'm excited because I love to spend time with them, but the tricky part is working out the only one car situation. We'll figure it out I guess.

Wish us luck on our finals!
