Christmas is up!

Yay! Finally on Wednesday we got the time to put up our Christmas stuff. I love decorating for Christmas. And Brian does a really good job of lighting our tree, which is my least favorite part. Here are some pictures.
Our Christmas tree and Stockings.

My Nativity. My mother-in-law gave this to me last year because I had a paper one. Right now it's on my coffee table but I'm sure that'll have to change once we have little ones running around.

We've got half of our shopping done, but still have a few more people to buy for. And each other. But Christmas may be sparse this year because Brian needed a new printer for his portfolio so that had to be bought early.

This evening we got to attend the First Presidency Christmas Devotional at the Conference Center with my family. It was really good. I love hearing from our leaders. Then we came back to our house and had chocolate chip cookie pie with ice cream. I had made it last night and we got to have some when it was warm out of the oven, but it was still really good reheated tonight. And it's really rich so we cut the pieces pretty small. But that makes it last longer right? :)

I love how christmas decorations bring such a fun and spiritual feeling into the home. I loved Elder Ukdorf's thoughts about the lights, the light of Christ, and Christmas. Your decorations are very cute - the nativity is my favorite!

I hope we get to see you guys around Christmas..... Miss you!
