Great Grandma Condie
This is my great grandma Josie Condie. My parents and Brad and I went up to visit her in Preston, ID yesterday for the holiday. I think she is an amazing woman so I wanted to share some of my thoughts about her.
She is currently 94 1/2 years old, and up until about three years ago, she was still living on her own in her own house. She has the most amazing memory. She has 4 children, 19 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren and she still remembers all of their names and what they're doing in their life right now. While we visited with her, she told us stories about Brad when he was little and visiting her house, stories that even he didn't remember.
She has a wonderful testimony of the church. My grandma Walker, her daughter, was a little nervous to go on a mission and leave her mother alone, but Grandma Condie said, "Go, I'll be fine." And she has been. She's of course old and has had a few falls, but she's doing so good. She has a great attitude about living in the nursing home. Her words of wisdom to us: "The key to staying healthy is, don't get old!"
I hope I can grow old as gracefully as she has and with a good attitude and memory like hers. I love you Grandma Condie!

Ok, so here's the random question of the day. Are y'all related to Dave and Kristin Condie? They are in my ward and I swear their youngest boy has your Grandma's Smile. Interesting...
