Yesterday and today we celebrated the wedding of one of our really good friends, Lindsey, from high school. She was in choir with me and Brian, and I had known her since at least middle school. (I don't really remember elementary school, but I probably knew her then too.)
Last night we attended her wedding dinner and tonight was her reception. I was so glad she invited us to the dinner. We were so happy to be there for her. She looked completely giddy, as she should.
It was also so much fun to see some of our friends from high school. James & Bethany (also in choir), Amanda & Andy (she was in choir and I've known her since grade school too, and he went to our high school) and Heidi & Jim (I've known her since middle school). We all sat together at the same table and had a great time catching up.
Our school has yet to put together a reunion, so we haven't seen these people since high school. We had so much fun laughing and getting to know the new additions. At the reception we got to see a few more friendly faces like Lindsey D., Ethan & Brooke, & Crystal.
The reception was so cute and she had lots of yummy food, at both the dinner and the reception. She even had a cupcake wedding cake. They were really good cupcakes too. Unfortunately we didn't take any pics. :(
