Elder Bednar Fireside
Tonight we had a fireside with Elder Bednar. He did this specifically for our stake. We went expecting a talk and then he was going to answer a few questions at the end. He ended up spending the whole 2 hours answering questions. It was amazing! His wife helped with some, and both did a great job. I felt so great the whole time. I took lots of notes about promptings that I got and I hope I can put some of those into practice. I feel very lucky that we got to learn directly from an Apostle in that kind of forum.

I've heard that he does that often. I think it would be neat to be in that kind of a setting. I'm so glad you got to experience it!
We thoroughly loved the firesides he hosted when we were at BYU-Idaho (especially the ones he held after becoming an Apostle). They were always Q&A sessions. His wife is pretty awesome, too!! I'm glad you got to enjoy an evening with them :))
