School Is Officially In Session

Yesterday marked the beginning of the Spring Semester for us. First days of school are always particularly stressing for me, usually just because I don't know what to expect from the classes. This semester however, it is because of what my schedule looks like itself. I am running back and forth from school to work & back all day long. And it's a workout to speed walk everywhere. Though, so far, the one good thing about this schedule is that it makes the day go by incredibly fast. Which is good right now as I don't have much to do in work or school, but as soon as things pick up, I may just be swamped. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully everyone (myself) can remain calm and flexible.
Brian has a similar schedule to last semester, though he's feeling a little more confident because he kind of knows what to expect. It'll probably still be a tough semester, but we'll make it.

As a side note: Today is such a gloomy day outside. And freezing cold! And one of my professors pointed out that January 7,8, & 9 are on average the coldest days of the year for Salt Lake. What happy and exciting news.

Last weekend my cousin Mike & his family were in town on their way home from Christmas in ID so we had a little family get together and that was so much fun. Brian has only met a few of the Barlow relatives and so I was excited for him to meet more of them. He seemed to get along really well with the little kids too. He did magic tricks for them and they loved it!

I'm way excited for this summer as it is the bi-annual Barlow Reunion, so Brian will be able to meet everyone else.

I think it's great that both you and Brian are getting good educations. Gone are the days when you could learn on the job and make a career from that. i will always be grateful to my friend Debbie for getting me into the School bussing industry. It's not what most would term a career job but it has worked well for me and my family through the years and I really love what I do if you can believe that!
