My Husband Rocks

Brian got home safe and sound from his trip to LA. He had a good time and really enjoyed looking at the cool architecture but they basically walked around in the rain for two days. So he was happy to be home.

It's a good thing he got home too, because I just felt worse Saturday night through Monday morning. I took another sick day Monday, and slept a LOT. It really helped. I was able to go back to work today.

Tonight I went to a friends house for "Biggest Loser & Brownies Night." It was so much fun. It's basically just an excuse to get together and talk to girls all night. I love it! :) We did watch the show and of course I chimed in with my smart-alec comments, but so did some others. We're going to make this a weekly thing until the shows over, but even after we'll have to think of some excuse to keep going. :)

Anyway, last night Brian had to stay at school till 12:30. So I thought he would be late again tonight. So I ended up staying at my friends' house until 10:30. Well, I got home and Brian had come home early, washed all the dishes, (which had piled up because I had been sick) and taken out the garbage! He's amazing! (I HATE doing the dishes. It stops me from cooking sometimes, because I hate them so much.) I was so happy!

And, I had told him to text me when he got home, so I could come home to be with him, but he knows how much I love going to these girl things, so he totally let me stay and was going to text me right as I walked in the door. He's wonderful!

Then when I got home I was going to make him my chocolate shakes, as a reward. :) But we were out of milk. So he went with me to the store, at 11:00 at night, just to get milk and a few things so I can make dinner tomorrow night, just because he knows that I hate to go grocery shopping by myself.

So this whole post is dedicated to Brian, and how much I love that he will do the dishes, and take out the garbage, and go grocery shopping, and let me have my girl nights. (Because I missed the last couple days.) I love you Brian!
