What we did today

Well, today started off with a basketball game bright and early for Brian. Our ward's game was at 8:00 AM. I went over to watch and support. Our guys did a good job, even though the other team was a little.... well I won't go there. I realized why I don't usually go to the games. I want to start yelling at the ref's or the other team if they're not playing well or making the right calls. This is something I think I learned from my parents when we would watch Jazz games. :) Thanks mom & dad. It was a good thing there were some other ladies from the ward there so I could talk to them and not watch the game as intently otherwise I would've been really mad every time one of the other guys knocked Brian down. I think almost all of our guys were down on the floor at one point or another during the game. It's a good thing we won.

After the game, we headed to IKEA. (Well, after Brian showered. He was sweaty!) But then we went to IKEA for my first time ever. I loved it! After just walking around the showroom upstairs for about an hour, we finally made our way to getting the things that were actually on my list. I got two bread loaf pans, (because I realized I didn't have any this last week when I wanted to make banana bread) a whisk, and a cheese grater. (Sorry Marci, I had to have one just like yours. :) Hope you don't mind.)

I really want to go back there one day when we actually have a house that we can afford to decorate completely. There was so many cool things and we got some good ideas for the future.

After IKEA, we headed to Sandy to celebrate Brian's mom's birthday today. We had lots of fun eating pizza, cake, and ice cream and just spending some time with family. Brian had so much fun that he didn't want to come home. Mostly because he didn't want to go back to school. I finally got him to leave though, and now he is back at school and I am once again hanging out at home.

This next week Brian is going to L.A. for a field trip so I'll probably be blogging a lot more and hopefully, starting on my book. :)

Have a good night!
